On 28 – 29th January 2010 in Brussels took part meeting of intermediary organization by the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme

Intermediary Organizations (IOs) by the programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs from EU participated in networking meeting in Brussels. The event aimed as to generalize the results achieved during the pilot phase as to mark the start of the second phase of the programme.
Intermediary organizations with experience in implementation of the separate phases in the project and new organizations participated in the event.

Bulgarian ICT Cluster successfully reported the first stage of the project I3E - Promoting Innovations in the Industrial Informatics and Embedded Systems Sectors through Networking

At a meeting of the consortium of the project, held in Maribor,Slovenia on the 12 and 13th of November 2009 , the progress and achieved results from the first period of the project were presented.
On the meeting the future activities set out in the Action Plan of the second period and the key points for successful implementation of the project were discussed from one side and the achievement of the planed objectives and results were noted.

Telecomunications Cluster

On February 28th, 2009 the implementation of Project BG 2005/017-586.04.02/ESC/G/CDI-II-003 on grant scheme "Cluster Development Initiatives", financed by PHARE Programme and the Ministry of Economy and Energy was officially ended.

Within one year companies from the Telecommunications Cluster’s established stable partnership relations based on mutual trust and common belief for future development. At the last common meeting, that took place on February 27th, 2009 all member companies firmly declared their wish to continue the partnership of Telecommunications Cluster members after the end of the project.

The Telecommunications Cluster was established at the beginning of 2008 within project BG 2005/017-586.04.02/ESC/G/CDI-II-003 on grant scheme “Cluster Development Initiatives”, financed by PHARE Programme and the Ministry of Economy and Energy. The leading organization and main project management coordinator is ICT Cluster.

Partners in the Telecommunications Cluster are nine companies from the ICT sector in Bulgaria. The companies’ portfolio includes design, building and maintenance of intelligent telecommunication networks, components for building and management of telecommunication services, intelligent industrial systems and microelectronics.

The cluster initiative was established in order to improve the competitiveness of companies. The efforts are directed to the implementation of best practices in process management, improvement of the companies’ marketing strategies, achievement of a higher degree of internationalization and appearance on new markets.

Project’s Objectives

Creation of a unified telecommunications portfolio of the Cluster’s member companies;

Achievement a higher level of the companies’ internationalization;

Building of Cluster administrative capacity in securing risk funding and additional development resources;

Creating common policy as regards human resources development of the Cluster’s member companies.
