On January 27th - 28th, the second conference on clusters took place in Budapest under the theme Mobilizing Clusters for Competitiveness. On 28 – 29th January 2010 in Brussels took part meeting of intermediary organization by the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme

Intermediary Organizations (IOs) by the programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs from EU participated in networking meeting in Brussels. The event aimed as to generalize the results achieved during the pilot phase as to mark the start of the second phase of the programme.
Intermediary organizations with experience in implementation of the separate phases in the project and new organizations participated in the event.

Bulgarian ICT Cluster successfully reported the first stage of the project I3E - Promoting Innovations in the Industrial Informatics and Embedded Systems Sectors through Networking

At a meeting of the consortium of the project, held in Maribor,Slovenia on the 12 and 13th of November 2009 , the progress and achieved results from the first period of the project were presented.
On the meeting the future activities set out in the Action Plan of the second period and the key points for successful implementation of the project were discussed from one side and the achievement of the planed objectives and results were noted.

ACHIEVE MORE Partnership

Enabling Innovation and Entrepreneurship

The Project ACHIEVE MORE is funded by Competitiveness and Innovation Program of the European Commission. It is build upon the success of its predecessors projects ACHIEVE, TEE-INN, TTA and NICE.

The partnership is a collaboration of early stage investors, 50 EU business and technology incubators and 15 clusters.

The ultimate ambition is to improve the success rate and accelerate the growth of knowledge-intensive ICT start-ups within the ACHIEVE MORE Partnership.
The project is based on the following activities:

Exchange know-how, expertise and better practice in leadingedge incubation
Learn about innovative coaching tools and methodologies that are proven to accelerate start-up growth
Experiments with new models for seed funds attached to incubators

For the next 2 year period the main goal of the partnership is to build EIX(Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exchange) - an innovative and highly focused business support platform for effective partnership working.

The platform will deliver practical means of enhancing early stage business support, with partners getting access to a continuous process of improvement that will place them in a leadership position in the EU in incubation and cluster management

And will provide partners with access to tested business acceleration tools, which meet strategic and practical needs to understand and support a start-up product development, discoveryof profitable markets, building core team capabilities and assessing investment readiness.
