"Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs" is a new European exchange programme aimed at helping new entrepreneurs to acquire relevant skills for managing a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) by spending time working in another EU country with an experienced entrepreneur in his or her company.

Entrepreneurial spirit is well developed in the ICT sphere but the lack of risk investment instruments and the insufficient business practices of the entrepreneurs restrict the development of the companies in the industry. Within its policy of improving the environment for development of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) the Bulgarian ICT Cluster is launching a project, called FORENTIN – Forum for Entrepreneurs and Investors.

The project “ICT Broadband Platform for Bulgaria” has been created like similar initiative, successfully adopted in Austria in 2004-2005. Thanks to the expert assessment and recommendations of the companies participating in the project, in 2005 the Austrian government adopted ICT strategy that included wide range of activities which would make Austria one of the top 5 ICT countries in Europe.
The initiative “ICT Broadband Platform for Bulgaria” started in 2006.
